Robbins Architecture I like the bright green you see in the plants on the table. Maybe that could be an accent color. I would chose a color already in the space and then try a brighter version of it.

Robbins Architecture The kitchen ceiling is about 8'-8" and the living room is 9'-8". The beams are decorative and about 5" x 6"

Robbins Architecture The bar stools are custom made to achieve a light tone in the wood. However they can be purchased in darker wood from BDDW. Ther interior designer supplied these. Berta Shapiro.

The counter in concrete.
