Clearview Construction Group, LLC I purchased the system from Stock Building Supply and then had my finish carpenter install and my painter stained and varnished the handrail. An online source such as stairwarehouse.com provides something very similar. You basically pick the spindle style, then pick the handrail style and figure out what pieces you wood need.

Clearview Construction Group, LLC It is hardwood mahogany. I would suggest going with the new ceramic tile that is shaped and textured to look like hardwood. It would hold up so much better in that application. You'd be surprised how real it looks.

**** using use of different colour ... rather than texture - but SAME principal. ALSO notice how the stairs treads and kickbacks are all the SAME colour (timber) ... it lacks dimension & is darker than the previous photo that painted the kickplate white.
