Cynthia Mason Interiors A painter skilled in specialty finishes is your best bet for lacquer work. I personally would not recommend as a DIY project. Good luck!

The type of primer is very important. Oil-based primer for oil paints. And latex primer for latex paints. Oil is recommended for wet environments such as a bathroom to resist mold. I like the idea of using an antique style dresser as a bathroom vanity. Paint it to match the wallpaper and drapery.

Love the colour and shape of the chest of drawers. The soft shapes of the mirror and bow front of the chest and the wallpaper with hints of a contrasting orange. Very nice and works well being a powder room. A very dramatic statement. love the glass handles too. I have learned to really appreciate the softness of teals with their green/blue/grey mixture. It is a range of colours one can easily live with and very easy to bring in other colour hints such as yellows, orange and ocean green/blues. I love this room.
