Where can I find the medallions for the drapery? - I have a long bay window with a pitched roof and think I could trick the eye into it looking larger with a window treatment like this. .. What exactly are the medallions and do the window treatments have to b custom made? »
lookingforgold i believe those are swag holders being placed where rod would normally go. they are sold in sets of two. can purchase at most places that sell drapery hardware.
Need help with a similar window - I have a triangular window like this and no room for a straight rod. I've been stumped for years trying to find a solution. Good thing it's just the spare room that has light streaming in at all hours. Can you tell me how the top was done? What is the product on the wall (tie backs maybe) and what did you have to do to the top of curtain to attach it to the wall?
Thanks! »
Cynthia Mason Interiors This treatment was designed to hide the ugly trapezoid window as the top. The top of the panels where cut on the angle - there is a tab at each medallion to attach. The medallions are sometimes referred to as "tie backs". Thanks for asking!
Looking for a way to sneak a more contemporary feel into a largely traditional bedroom? Choose a bench with a hint of Lucite. This bench adds an unexpected touch of coral color, modernized by its transparent base.
Poster bed is very plain with a true country feel, but I love how the window treatment changes the look and provides elegance and interest with the mixed furniture styles used here.
