This is a piece done in the spirit of the fifth house of Venus, which is the apogee of the planet in its orbit around the sun. The drawing is a figure study of a Graeco-Roman Aphrodite. The Greek name for Venus' fifth house is written in the corner. The drawing is on a thin piece of translucent vellum, and is lightly tacked on the corners onto a blue piece of paper that is adhered to a tan piece of paper. This work also incorporates found objects, as there is a steel ruler placed horizontally across the top.
