Veranda Estate Homes & Interiors I have had this in one previous home, being 5'10" I found the microwave to be too high and a danger at times. Something to keep in mind when thinking about this as a design element in your kitchen.

Melinda Faranetta I use this set up all the time and have not had any issue with the microwave height and I am all of 5'3" with shoes. Please note the bottom oven is lower than a standard oven would be placed without the microwave on top.
