Floating On Air

You can clearly see the floating effect and the toe kick drawers to the left. The deep drawer under the rangetop has a second, internal pullout for lids.

The bottom rail is 5". The top rail and stiles are 3". Typically, a Shaker-style door has rails and stiles the same width, and that is generally in the 2-1/4" - 2-3/8" range. The edges are eased, not sharp. The panels are caramelized bamboo. The latter was a direct reference to the roll-up bamboo blinds of many mid-century homes, an era to which this home belongs.
