Charles Todd Helton, Architect Hello, If memory serves me right, we used steel cables, which are covered by stainless steel sleeves to cover them (and the electrical line). That ceiling element was a custom floating ceiling that I designed, to help give the kitchen a cozier feel.
Charles Todd Helton, Architect Hello, Check with Beto Gallegos, or Stone Image, @ 281.960.0070. He installed the interior tile and stone. Have a good one.
Sercove You can check out ErthCOVERINGS, Sydney Yellow 3D, has the same look and it is a great natural stone product. I have used it many times. www.erthcoverings.com
Charles Todd Helton, Architect Hello Denise. I am not sure if they bought them on their own, or if they made those decisions with their interior designer. Try contacting Jane Page Design Group interior designers here in Houston. They might be able to help you. Good luck.

Cabinets - I love the overall look of this kitchen. Could you tell me if that is just frosted glass in the wall cabinets that appears blue in the photo or if something else was used to achieve the look? Also, what the frame and center panel species are on the fridge and base cabinets? Thanks! Again, amazing job! »
Charles Todd Helton, Architect Hello houdini1321, I can't remember. Try calling a local glass manufacturer, they should know all of the in's and out's of glass frosting. Good luck.
Charles Todd Helton, Architect Your welcome. By the way, there are many more pictures of this house on my facebook page @ Charles Todd Helton Architect, Inc.

Charles Todd Helton, Architect Hello,
If memory serves me correctly, it was a smoked english -or- french oak wood flooring. The smoke gave it a carmelized look - pretty cool stuff.
