Charles Rose Architects Inc. Thanks, the wood is Ipe. We would recommend that you speak with a structural engineer about your roof top.

Charles Rose Architects Inc. Gas fireplaces need to be certified for NYC in particular. Google this and two or three companies will come up that can help you.
