Janine Shmuelevitz This is a wall sculpture by the Israeli artist David Gerstein. I purchased it in Toronto at an art store called "Frame of Mind" but his work is available worldwide. Here is his website: http://www.davidgerstein.com/details.php?id=705 . The cost of this sculpture was approx. $8,000.00 CND. It is stunning in real life!!

Sisters in Sync Design I think the high price of this table was be ause it is made from 1 piece of wood omly, whereas the others that are available at lower prices are often made from 2 slabs of book-ended slabs of wood. In addition, the hand hammered copper legs on this table made up a substantial part of its high price.

julieb63 Urban Hardwoods are all made from single slabs. They have several different woods they use but the tables are all one slab. the most expensive are walnut. I was looking at a 104" walnut table and with the base it was $9100.
They have showrooms in Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles as well as a website.
