Luxury For The Home The drapery is attached to a frame, which is actually attached to the ceiling. We had a custom frame made from egg and dart chair mold, which attaches to the ceiling with L brackets. The drapery then attaches to the frame with velcro. And then an upholstered insert slides in to cover the bottom of the frame.
We used velcro to attach the drapery panels because we wanted to allow the parents to remove the panels when their little girl got a little more adventurous and would start to pull on them. Then we she grew a little bit, they could put them back!
Luxury For The Home The ceiling paint was existing and actually a tan color. I think it is just the way the ceiling looks in the photo. But if you are looking for that color, I would look at the off-white collection in Benjamin Moore. Here are some suggestions - distant gray (OC-68), cloud cover (OC-25), gray mist (OC-30) or cloud nine (oc-119) - remember to test the paint!
