Listed is one of my extra large abstract contemporary paintings inspired by the settling of night time fog. My work is minimal yet expressive in style, bringing a sense of peacefulness, yet also imbued with an underlying energy. It features delicate but graphic veils of poured acrylic paint, coupled with luscious, thick oil paint. This piece is a diptych (two separate panels that go together to create one large piece). Hang them directly together or slightly apart, as desired. Would make a great statement piece.
  • Title: _______________The Night Veil, settling"
  • Artist: Lauren Adams"
  • All materials of archival quality
  • Acrylic and oil paint on canvas
  • Each canvas measures 30"H x 25"W 1.5"D, when together measures 30"H x 50"W x 1.5"D
  • Signed and dated on the back of the canvas
I have shown my work extensively at various venues including my solo exhibition at The Slingluff Gallery in Philadelphia, PA and Annex Gallery in Charleston, WV. My work has also been featured in West Elm's 2012 Summer catalog. I hold a BA in Studio Art and a BFA in Visual Art. My work is included in the collections of Fairmont State University and the West Virginia State Museum, as well as numerous national and international private collections.
