Olive trees frame the entrance to this house. They are a hardy tree able to manage most conditions, and the glaucous and gray tones add contrast to other plants.

extend brick on either side of path for perpendicular pathways towards drive way and towards yard. Look at contrasting brick color on one side or alternating the 2 colors
