Windows? - Love the windows over the porch area. We are redoing our porch and would like the same windows above our porch. What is the size and the brand? Please advise. Thanks so much!!!

2953 side windows, 4 inch mullion and trim boards, 4153 center window, historic azek subsill, 2525 top window. (Windows should always be proportioned to the house massing) If you want to send me a pic I can tell you what to install. PS the windows were Pella architect series. Simulated divided lite is important to achieve the historic look. Hope that helps.

That is soooo helpful. Thank you very much. I may send you a pic. This looks exactly like our house so I was gravitated to it. I love how you kept so much character. Appreciate it!!!!

The are Azek-make sure to use glue per specifications. Boral is another great product if you want to make the column yourself.

Regarding the double support posts on each end of the porch - Does each post have a separate footing/pier or is there one footing at each end of the porch that they share? Also, was there a structural reason for putting two posts that close or was that for aesthetic reasons? Also, thanks for the quick follow up on my previous question

Only the outside post is structural. The inside column is a 'dummy' post to visually support the massing. Your situation would depend on the loads, the span, and the appearance. Hope that helps.

question regarding foundation/footings - Was the foundation for the support columns of the room above the porch and porch itself done as individual poured footings or as a continuous wall? Thanks

For our back patio - similar supports as under "Dream house" addition, and framing the patio, only in the dream house it seems that 2 colors are used for greater effect.
