I have read all of the questions and all of your answers and I have to wonder , are you really the designer? - I ask because you don't seem to know any of the details of this project! »
Susan Serra, CKD I did not supply the backsplash tile so I do not have the specifications for it. It's very nice tile. I could suggest that you contact this person to see if she would be willing to replicate the tile http://www.kibaktile.com/ as she does custom work.
What color is the ceiling, who made the blacksplash and what color is it, and what color is the grout? - What color is the ceiling, who made the blacksplash tile and what color is it, and what color is the grout? Thanks »
I love the backsplash - Can you tell me what brand and color it is? Any info you can give would be much appreciated...even the grout info as well...thanks »
Susan Serra, CKD Sorry, I do not know what it is. Your best bet is to put a paint sample chip up against your monitor to match the color because between natural and artificial lighting in this kitchen, photographic adjustments and your own monitor's color (plus your lighting), the color is now what you see uniquely on your monitor which is quite different from the actual color of the tile. I hope that helps just a bit!
I am still frequently stopping in to look at this gorgeous kitchen, hoping someone might say what this backsplash may be. It appears to be a multi-layered color: gray with blue/green behind it. Any chance you could let me know? Thank you! »
Susan Serra, CKD Your second best bet is to hold up Benjamin Moore or other paint samples against your computer monitor to match the color you see. That should be helpful!
Anne DeCocco A photo can really be deceiving--this ceiling could be white, but reflecting some of the color in the room. But you could get this palest blue shade using a color like Sherwin's Snowdrop/6511 in a flat finish. It sets off the crown molding too.
Susan Serra, CKD I do not remember the manufacturer information on the tiles. They are lightly crackled and handmade but I did not supply them, only consulted on the color.
teraa I adore these pendants! Did some searching as they were a bit out of our price range. Progress lighting also makes a pendant somewhat similar to this, at a more affordable price point. Not quite as pretty of course- but a good budget option. "Progress Lighting Brushed Nickel 1-light Pendant" - available through Home Depot.
Update your cabinetry. Those white paneled doors and drawers are the refrigerator, which keeps the wall from being broken up by a bulky appliance. This gives the kitchen a more streamlined look.
