Lola Watson Interior Design Hello - and thank you for your question! The 36" x 36" x 16" ottomans were made by Baker (Style 405), in Java finish and the fabric was Pattern: 28-291. They were used in the client's previous home and were originally purchased in 1998. I'm afraid they have since been discontinued - but you never know when Baker might bring something back!

We are not clear as to what exactly you are asking. The windows are original to the house. In the sunroom, they are covered with custom made shutters painted to match the trim. In the Living Room we used custom made Conrad Shades over which we hung a custom designed valance (lined and interlined) with a toile fabric from Brunschwig & Fils and trimmed in a silk brush fringe from Scalamandre all fabricated by our local drapery studio. If you desire further information, please contact Lola Watson Interior Design directly. Thank you very much!
Lola Watson Interior Design Thank you for asking! The rug is a one of a kind that was purchased by the family a number of years ago through an antique rug dealer. We layered it over a sisal carpet from Stark Carpets to temper the formality of the room. Please contact Lola Watson Interior Design for further information.
Lola Watson Interior Design Thank you for asking! The color is actually more in the blue family - we used Benjamin Moore Historic Colors - 143 (Wythe Blue). The slight tension between it and all the red energizes the room. The trim is Dove White. If we can answer any other questions, please contact us at Lola Watson Interior Design!
Lola Watson Interior Design Hello and thank you for asking!
We used Benjamin Moore's HC-143 on the walls and enameled the trim in Benjamin Moore's White Dove.

phebe12 I would love a sofa or fabrics as close to that in the photo as possible. I already have one red velvet sofa in my family room and everything is accented in white. I am looking to add another sofa in that room. Do you have anything similar?
Lola Watson Interior Design Thank you for asking! The fabric on the ottoman was in the Baker, Knapp & Tubbs collection, but unfortunately was dropped in 2003. The fabric on the sofa was originally purchased through Hickory Chair for the homeowner's previous home and window treatments were later added in this home when we discovered the fabric was made by Brunschig & Fils. Although that company was recently purchased by Kravet, the fabric is discontinued, but there is yardage available through your professional interior designer. Please contact Lola Watson Interior Design for more details.
Thanks for asking! If you visit my website: www.lolawatson.com you will find several photos of this house as well as a link to a couple of magazines that featured this house. If you have trouble finding enough photos, please contact me directly at lolawatson.com.

Lola Watson Interior Design A point or two of clarification: the scalloped design was actually traced from an antique Sheraton serpentine chest but I'm sure there is a similar pattern in one of the drapery books. The cascades are 'stacked' which is my design preference for a tighter, more trim look. Also, we do not use foam core (and never did during the 39 years I have designed), but actual wood boards that are covered with lining and then coordinated fabric that was used in the window treatments. Then L brackets are used for installation. I am sorry that your very honest questions resulted in a rather unprofessional episode on this site. Please feel free to contact us for any additonal information we can provide. Best wishes!
Soft lighting. Because the living room serves so many purposes, lighting becomes extra important. You need well-placed task lighting for reading, but you also need it to provide a soft ambience for relaxing. Table lamps are a traditional choice; check out the huge array of antique replicas on the market. I like the black lamp shades used here — the splash of black really grounds the scheme.
windows in background on right. tall . I like the look of divided panes on the windows from the outside but don't like their interference of view from inside.
