Can i send a picture of our pink bathroom - we have a large shower with a bench to sit and a wide tub but to short to strech legs.the bathroom is in its own little room and the two sink pink vanitys is big but a L shape with wall to wall mirros. We have no idea where to start. It is a good size bathroom. »
Gast Architects Yes, you do have a lot of room to work with. A suggestion is to do a new layout. Why don't you give our office a call and we can talk options.
David Gast Julia, I've attached the floor plan: the room is approximately 9'-4" wide x 15'-9" long. 5'6" long tub below a stone top on the left, two sinks on the right in an approximately 7' long custom cabinet, approx. 6' square shower, 3' wide wall-hung toilet space.
shower glass attaching to wall beside vanity - I am doing a vanity that has a shower adjacent like this but my countertop stretches all the way to the shower wall, being seamless, no knee wall The shower glass will attach to the countertop and wall. My dilemma is the area where the glass attaches to the wall that the vanity is on. (Right side in your picture) It looks like you have a piece of molding or something instead of having the shower tile extend behind the shower glass. How does that look on the inside of the shower in that corner? What is the protection from water? I like this because I need balance on this side so I can center a mirror over the vanity. I have a linen cabinet an the other side of the vanity. Thanks »
This tile runner defines a path through the master bath. The body of the rug is an H-shaped mosaic and is bordered with green marble. The pattern is carried into the shower floor.
For a vintage or classic bathroom, a frame created out of contrast tile on the shower wall is a perfect focal point. A runner created out of mosaic floor tile can be done if you've got the budget, but if not, an alternate idea would be to skip the inside mosaic and change it out for field tile and leave the frame.
COULD CONSIDER DARK WOOD ON FRONT OF TUB INSTEAD OF TILE IN OTHER PICTURE. BUT THE TILE FRONT FOR SOME REASON MAKES THE TUB LOOK MORE LIKE A FREE STANDING TUB AND ALSO WOULD BE A NICE CONTRAST NEXT TO JEFF'S SINK INSTEAD OF BLENDING THAT WHOLE SIDE INTO ONE PIECE.
