Georgetown townhomes are known to be narrow and long, my clients from this project were Australian and were in the US temporarly, they needed a versatile design which they could take with them where they were going to go next, which was probably Europe. Keeping that in mind, the furniture scale was very important as it had to fit small homes. Him being and executive in an oil company and she in the marketing depatment in the same company, they entertained a lot, so the space had to have elegance and practicality too. He loved oriental furniture, and she was more contemporary, so both styles had to belnd in the space.
