Again, the large swirls in the "Delirium" granite became the inspiration and central focus of this bathroom remodel. (See the "before" photos here: http://www.hearthstonedesignllc.com/portfolio/living_spaces/diane/diane.html). The custom made cabinetry was stained an espresso color and included large drawers at the bottom to store all of those tall bottles of product that otherwise sits out on the counter or gets put away in the hall closet where it's likely forgotten.
The sage green subway and purple glass tiles that we used in the backsplash and on the soaking tub platform played along beautifully with the rest of the design. Our clients chose this particular porcelain floor tile because it felt like a "sandy beach". And to further enhance that feel, we installed a warm floor kit underneath to keep their little toes toasty in the winter (which is a big deal in our rainy Pacific Northwest!).
Is this a custom bathroom vanity? - If not, please let me know where you bought it and the dimensions, if available. It is exactly what we need, but possibly on a smaller scale. Thanks! »
Side above counter cabinets that will act as medicine cabinets. I don't love this look, the above counter cabinets are partially connected but partially not and seem to sit awkwardly atop the vanity.

interesting color scheme: wood, dark marble and plum purple
I like this...my idea though was to put in built in medicine cabinets because I wouldn't be able to match the vanity would with the medicine cabinet wood. You would have a frameless medicine cabinet.
