mango design co was given the fabulous task of transforming this home in vancouver's prestigous shaughnessy district. tudor style from the outside, it was terribly stuck in heavy finishes and bad 80's decor.
we tore down walls, morphed spaces & refinished it all with a completely new modern look.... unrecognizable from the original.
clean, timeless, classic, ... hope you like it!

Information on door handles - Please give details of the drawer pulls/handles. Very clean look.

mango design co it's a simple tab type pull available from most cabinetry hardware companies; i'm not sure who made these but see richelieu for examples.
Glass Backsplash - We are considering a similar backsplash. I love the clean look of the glass.
But, my kitchen supplierwhile recommending the glass, mentioned that a customer of theirs had the solid glass behind the stovetop crack when a pot that was on the flame had its handle touch the backsplash, have you had this issue, or seen this as a concern?
Thanks! »
mango design co the glass behind the range needs to be tempered, by code safety regulations, and should certainly not crack when hit by a pot handle. sounds like an odd occurance considering pot handles don't tend to get extremely hot nor come in contact with the backsplash.
chaniewk Thanks for your reply.
The glass option is tempered, and they still had this happen to a customer. I think the pot was on the flame at the time. I've had some pot handles get pretty hot. Maybe it was a large pot where the handle would protrude enough on the side to touch the backsplash.
I do wonder if it was an odd occurrence anyway, since many people have been installing these and it is the only incident I've heard of. Even stone/ granite has been known to crack on occasion.
