jws91 The palms look like Macarthur or manila palms. Do a google image search on both names and compare the photos. These type of palms are common in Hawaii gardens, but when planted in the ground will grow to 30 ft.
This bathroom has both an indoor and an outdoor shower, notice that? The bronze faucets and fixtures tie together the courtyard outside and the bathroom inside. Using bronze keeps everything calm and garden-like.
As far as I'm concerned, nothing beats showering outside. This bathroom opens completely to literally bring the outside in. Mind, body and soul are fully nourished in a setting such as this.
Here the tub and shower can be completely open to the courtyard. Even when the doors are closed, there is still a very strong feeling of being open to the elements.
