Can this be used for a 11X11 room? - we are converting a 11X11 room into a bedroom for a parent, could a closet like this be added and not take away living space? Do you have any suggestion? Thanks. »
Z Gallerie Hi Carol - We still carry similar sketch pieces. Our Tribute to Tiffany http://zgal.re/KvLyWX and Grace http://zgal.re/M1Mbci are new art arrivals for this year. Hope this helps!
Niki Papadopoulos This absolutely looks like a custom closet solution and perhaps the wicker was an option for the basket (other options might be metal mesh or plastic.)
serenity2957 i put a similar ironing board in my closet.- the closet guy ordered it for me. it makes ironing convenient but it is a bit high for me as it is mounted on the self and sits another inch or so above that. i find i have to wear platform shoes to iron.
dimakhalaf He should have checked if the height was appropriate before mounting it! :-( . I actually found a similar idea with a board mounted upright and it has a base. More stable than the horizontal board and because it has a 'pull-out leg' it has to be put at an appropriate height always. Problem with it, is that it needs to have a bit more space than the horizontal board in a vertical cupboard. .I don't know if they send orders overseas!
This closet is beautiful and functional. Having to pull out a cumbersome, free-standing ironing board makes one want to iron even less - having an easily accessible built-in like this will keep you wrinkle free.
Drawer hideaway ironing boards are another space-saving solution that requires even less space than a cabinet ironing station. This closet designer had a pull-out ironing board installed in a closet drawer for last minute touch ups. A similar model is sold through Rev-A-Shelf.
A pull-out ironing board. Pulling a built-in board out of the wall is more convenient and easier to use than a traditional ironing board. Also, it takes up less space. If you had to pick, would you want this in your big closet or your big laundry room?
1. Hot off the press. Install a pull-down ironing board in your master closet and you will never want to leave. This is a space-saving and time-saving trick that you will love.
3. Paint your closet a flattering hue. No matter the size of your closet, painting the interior can do wonders. Soft pink is a color that you might shy away from in a larger room, but in a closet it feels just right: warm and flattering.
