Another way to transition from the wood encased look to using the wood for a border. Stone height and wood height must be exact in height to make this work. My husband has 35 years of installation behind him....he can do this, even though he's been off his knees for 7 years and is co-owner of LeSage Flooring in Baton Rouge. Thank you for the beautiful pictures and for sharing them.
