Interior Fashion Advisors, LLC This is not my design, but I think it's quartzite. It is a wonderful color and finish--I believe it's only used honed.

Nina Pillard it has a more handmade, detailed look without necessarily being covered in moulding. Just an aesthetic preference. It does, however, cut into storage room a little bit, so keep that in mind.

rnjanke This really doesn't look honed though...u can see the reflection of the fruit in the counter. I'm thinking polished concrete...not totally sure

Catherine Goggin I eventually used caesarstone cracked pepper. 40mm thick. I'm very happy with it and admire it every time I clean the bench down. Thanks for all the comments it was very helpful

Annie Thornton Although these barstools look pretty dark in this photograph, they look very similar to the Accents Beyond Counter Stool in Oak.

Becky Harris Honing is a way of finishing that is more matte, less super-shiny like most of the granite you see. Personally, I love it!
