Impressionist painting by Frans J. Joosen titled "Women 311" framed behind glass in a black contemporary frame. The Dutch painter, born in Tilburg March 29, 1923, studied under Rob Verbunt and Jan Asselbergs. He is a real “studio painter” and his subjects are mostly women, portraits, groups of figures, and nudes. Joosen severed as a member and chairman, as well as established several Dutch Art Societies. Frans Joosen will be mentioned in the next edition of “AKKU,” a Dutch encyclopedia of artists.
