Bordering one of Massachusetts’ most celebrated natural water bodies is a garden that embraces magnificent views of the Charles River and quietly merges with local ecology. New outdoor spaces respect the sensitive river ecosystem, and massive existing canopy trees guide low-impact stormwater management strategies. A multi-seasonal vegetation palette combines plants with extended flowering periods and low-moisture requirements to attract pollinators and enhance biodiversity. Fieldstone walls form terraces that connect interior and exterior spaces, and staircases traverse richly planted garden slopes. A swimming pool and spa provide soothing recreational opportunities and a sense of balance is restored to the property.

Can you please tell me what material the pavers are and where they can be purchased? - We are redoing our entire backyard and putting in a new pool. I can't figure out what pavers to choose. Thanks a lot! »
Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC Hi there--the material you see here is called "natural cleft, full range bluestone." It is dry-laid, and set in an ashlar/random pattern. It is widely available throughout the northeast... not sure about other locations of the US. Good luck!
