Birch branches creating an asymmetrically walled hallway for viewing art in a series is brilliant, but I think varied wooden planks or bird's eye pine would've made for better flooring.

I don't know how practical this is for a large area, but it makes an incredible presentation for art's sake. I love it - and lighting would be critical to celebrating it (and showing every cob web).
