This is a photo looking from the original kitchen to the dining room before the remodeling. The kitchen was very small, with four doorways opening into the space. The old dining room is through the doorway beyond. During the design process, we decided to move the kitchen to where the dining room is in this photo and remove the wall between the two spaces. We built an addition to the back of the house (left of this photo) and opened that space to the kitchen and new dining room. Photo by Studio Z Architecture
