A shared room may seem too chaotic to keep deliberate, yet this room show how even small additions such as a reading corner and desk can work wonders and look great.

This bedroom could work well as a guest room or a young boys room in a hunting lodge or mountain retreat. I think I'd add one more antler plaque over the left bed, just to balance out the look. Note the swordfish painting above that bed. Hunt themed rooms are definitely not for everyone, but the feeling is cozy and warm...perfect for our cool autumn days ahead.

Left alone, the space under the bed could easily become a black hole for misplaced socks, playing cards, and the like. A container or two, like the baskets used here, will ensure there's at least some organization at work down there. How do your kids keep their rooms clean?
