Edict Inc. I don't think that the size of the kitchen dictates the color scheme. I know people often feel it can make it seem like a cave but if it's open and not a galley enclosed kitchen it should be fine I would think but it's difficult to say without seeing it. When we did this kitchen it's completely open to the rest of the space so dark cabinets/etc. were fine.

Edict Inc. Thanks. I used brazillian walnut in my own home its a similar grain but browner and darker to the red of the cherry.
