The use of color and mix of fabrics within this space is fantastic. When done right, mixing a wide range of fabrics produces a dynamic aspect to a design, and looks effortless. But accomplishing this is much harder than it appears. The key is the proper mix of scale with a common element shared among the choices.
Boldly patterned fabrics are responsible for nearly all the color in this otherwise neutral room. The headboard is covered in Mandarin Imprellis Trellis while a multi-colored stripe covers chairs set at the foot of the bed. Floral pillows, along with a bedskirt and bolster pillows in orange, tie the patterns together in a dynamic way.
