Malka Sabroe-JoHanson Hello there, no it is a 8' ceiling. We built to the standard height which is 7', leaving 12" on top for storage. Kids grow way too fast, so I never design for children's current height. The shelves and rods are adjustable, eventually the young person will be able to reach everything. In the mean time, the spaces above are great for the mother or nanny to store items away from the little guy or gal. Thanks,

Malka Sabroe-JoHanson So, sorry for my too long delay. This closet is made out of a very high quality white melamine with pink edge banding. To match what you have, I would call a few local closet companies and see if they have your address listed as a past client and they can add to it. This is what I have done with many homes where the client has moved and the new client phones me. It is what I love about this sort of closet creation.
