Clean and beautiful white maple with a clear coat. This is just a section of the home office highlighting the pull out shelving included to tuck away the printers and modem.
Malka Sabroe-JoHanson Yes, these are custom designed and custom built for this client's home office. The material is of a higher grade than anything I have seen at Ikea or Office Depot and the such. Now towers are changing, and in that case the tower section can be used to store other office items in it. Thanks,
I love this idea, but wonder - shouldn't the PC box be able to "breath"? I thought it gets hot and needs air around it. If I am wrong, I'd love to be able to hide it like this »
coovie I have my tower in a cupboard like that and it was a terrible idea, I have to always have the door open and it's in the way. Thinking of removing the door.
Malka Sabroe-JoHanson Yes, there are generally vents in the back as well as a fan device. Some brands are worse in over heating than others and then we suggest leaving the door off. It all depends on usage, brand and placement. I like to create a larger space to begin with in case the next purchase tower would be larger or not at all. Meaning that there would no need for a tower in the future and the space could be used to store other office items in it.
Malka Sabroe-JoHanson So sorry for this delay in answering this question. I had never seen it.. We custom built these spaces for this custom designed and custom build home office. Now computers are all changing so fast, we have to be careful in how we design so a client can enjoy the office for a long time without having to re-construct. Thanks,
