Jenkins Custom Homes This one is approximately 6' from the floor to the bottom of the vent inside the arch. Each manufacturer will state what distance is allowed from the cooktop. This one is well within the manufacturer's allowed distance and works quite well! It is really important, though, that you go with a commercial grade blower for a commercial grade appliance like this Wolf Subzero range.

What I like about this is the framing of the kitchen. First comes the arch, then there is a center round island piece with three arches perfectly lined up. That creates depth.
