This kitchen is part of a new log cabin built in the country outside of Nashville. It is open to the living room and dining room. An antique pair of French Doors can be seen on the left; were bought in France with the original cremone bolt. Antique door knobs and backplates were used throughtout the house. What color of paint goes with Rustic Hickory cupboards, also for connecting walls? »
Leland Interiors, LLC Hi Nancy, Thank you for your question about paint color. In this project the warm gray was chosen to co-ordinate with the chinking of the logs. Also, not in this photo, the kitchen is open to the living room whose focal point is an eighteen foot wall with a stone fireplace. the stones have this same range of colors. The warm gray paint color is used on all the walls that are not log or stone and continues up the stairwell wall and into the loft bedroom over the kitchen. Hope this helps.
Leland Interiors, LLC Thank you for asking, the cabinets are hickory and were custom made by a local company. You probably have a local cabinetmaker that could make them as well. Good luck.
Leland Interiors, LLC Thank you for asking, the client bought the stools several years ago, some at Pier 1 and some at Lowe's. You might start the search there, good luck!
I like the color of paint. What is it? - This is just beautiful! So warm and inviting! We are building a new home and I am looking for paint colors that will work with our Cabinet and counter choices (which are really close to these). I would love to know more about the paint in this photo. Thank you! »
