Eames Plywood Coffee Table

Currently Not Available
The Eames Plywood Coffee Table was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946 to complement their famous molded plywood chairs. With its thin and slightly indented top and gently curved legs this imaginative table exhibits the characteristics of a typical Eames design. The round tabletop features three strong and lightweight inner plies that are sandwiched between natural face veneers. The curved legs are eight-ply molded plywood with a veneer that matches the top. This Herman Miller production is shaped by molding thin wood veneers under heat and pressure to create a beautiful design that is both sturdy and elegant.
