To cut down on cost, Ahmann wanted to use as much of the existing foundation as possible. This forced the team to work within a narrow and L-shape space, which made spatial organization difficult. Ahmann divided up the long island and the rest of the kitchen into distinct areas defined by function. WHAT ABOUT THIS.. LOOK AT THE WOOD ON THE RAISED TABLE PART.. YOU MIGHT YOU COULD USE THE EXISTING ISLAND TOP YOU HAVE.. THEY HAVE IT MIX MATCHED WITH THE GRANITE.. JUST A THOUGHT
