joyceychang I love so many things I see here! My house has a similar floorplan where i can oversee the living room from the dining room. I also have a long dining room. The only thing I am curious about is...why is the dining table placed horizontally in the vertical room?

Robeson Design @joyceychang Thank you for the nice compliments. Not sure how to answer your curiosity about the Dining table. Yes, its runs horizontal in a vertical room. If this would not be your taste and we were designing for you, we would not run it horizontally. In this case, we were designing for our clients and they agreed with us, the room looked better with the table placed in the horizontal direction. In the even of larger dinner parities, the clients will simply turn the table for full extensions to be accessible but for now, the table remains as you saw it in the video.

Robeson Design @padmajaayodhyala I have no problem giving design information away for free ... I do it all the time on my youtube channel and here on Houzz. People want to know the name, color, part number of everything they see in photos. When I can, I provide the information. In this case, this project is 12 years old and the specifics of things like paint color are long gone. I'm sorry I cant be of more help to you. Perhaps you can hire a local designer in your area to select your colors for you. Best of luck on your design projects. RR

veerios03 @Robeson Design oh my Rebecca! I am such a huge fan of your work! I submitted my room on your youtube channel and every Monday I hope that I get picked! We are in the process of designing it and I have no clue what to do! Hopefully I get picked soon! But I love your work and everything you do, I try to get inspiration from your videos all the time! But the way my room is designed it's kinda hard :/ well hope to get picked soon! Thanks again!! :D
