Anne DeCocco Sounds very pretty to me! Like being at the beach. One thing to consider and I'd love to hear other thoughts on this--blue is sometimes considered a difficult color for food surfaces. Maybe it's an old wives' tale, but it is said that some food looks unattractive on blue. Any other opinions?

Add an actual table to your island. It’s fairly common practice these days to see islands double as seating spaces with the addition of bar stools. However, if you have the space, consider adding an actual table to your island.
