Hello. That bugs me too.......until I noticed the MORE INFO click-on directly under every pic that is up. It usually has much more info about the pic and all of its questions. I noticed there are a zillion questions "Paint color?" with no please or thankyou and really, no two monitors are alike so those that ask aren't seeing the original color anyway. and then others take a guess at it and then the original questioner comes back and often responds with a "no it isn't, looks different in the store...bla bla bla" well......yes it will. click on the MORE INFO green text directly under the picture and you may be very surprised at all the info that is there. And it would save everyone time and energy going thru the "color plse" questions. Make sense? I used a benjamin moore paint chip card and compared it to the color on the BMoore site and my monitor was way off. I adjusted it and its spot on now but I still have no way of knowing if the person that posted the picture had accurate color settings on their computer OR on the camera that took the picture. :) I hope this helps somebody.

Designers earn their living by charging fees for their talent - its not their obligation to spend time giving away free advice.
...And one doesn't need to know precicely where a certain item is available within a 30mile radius of their home, an exact paint color or the specific dimensions of a space to take inspiration from a room.

Okay, sorry guys I have tried to delete my post but alas can't figure out how. I can not believe my last comment. I do not know this person and have know right to judge someone so harshly. I apologise and consider this a lesson learned. (sometimes I write without thinking and sometimes I think, or rather fail to think, clearly) It is a beautifully designed room, and I am sure the designer has a great deal more class than I have shown.

mdwlaw - don't feel that way, your question is totally fine. I don't think there's anything wrong with a designer sharing a paint color or chair source! Sarah Richardson has great (and free) design shows on tv all the time. As do many other designers. If I were a designer, I'd be proud and pleased that someone liked my design well enough to ask these questions!
