How high is the hearth from the floor? How high is the mantel from the hearth? How wide is the mantel and hearth? Regarding the stone; what is the length of stone between the firebox and the mantel on the sides and from the top? I apologize for the bombardment of questions, I don't have a mantel for my Opel fire box and I would like to know about the scale of this one to base mine on so that it looks as lovely and symmetrical as this one. Unless you want to come to Newfoundland, Canada to build mine. :) Thank you in advance. PS: Does the white mantel get stained by smoke when wood is added? »

kskousen I too, would like to know the dimensions of this fireplace. I believe it is a natural gas insert so they probably don't get smoke rising out of it.

Witt Construction The floors are 5 ¼” Oak, sanded with 3 coats of clear satin polyurethane.
