Marla Baird It's a very similar look to the Spiced Hickory engineered hardwood I had in my last house. If it is hickory, you'll see fairly pronounced striation in color. I had a large open great room and kitchen, so we got nice, long runs - the tonal changes are just lovely in hickory.

I like this island again, size wise with the 3 chairs on the side, also like the shelves, like the kitchen in general, I don't think again - I am probably this wide on the plan. Don't want white cabinets, but like the simplistic style, like the beadboard on the island.
