Archer & Buchanan Architecture, Ltd. A good portion of the site walls were from an existing 18th century dry stacked fieldstone wall that was running through the property. Archer & Buchanan designed the new structure to run through the wall and appear as it was growing out of the earth. The stone walls for the structure were built by traditional masonry construction with fieldstone veneer walls and an interior stud wall. I am sorry we do not know enough about earth bagging to give an educated opinion on its function in construction. I wish you luck on your project!
