Very traditional but special! One leg of the fireplace opens to reveal the cly valve and serves as a place to keep the gas key. The hallway next to the TV contains a door to a storage closet for all the AV equipment in the house.

Ellen Grasso & Sons, LLC The countertops are Typhoon Bordeaux granite. The colors are very soft shades of grays, greens, creams, and a little reddish brown. IF you Google images for this material, some of the pictures that come up look nothing like the soft subtle colors of this material.

Ellen Grasso & Sons, LLC 5" common/quartered red oak. The stain was mixed on site but is mostly chestnut with a little antique. Stain is DURASEAL. So is the polyurethane.

I like the french doors. It gives it a sunny disposition. This is probably a less expensive route than doing the sliding fold away doors to the pool area.
