You are correct, the floors are charcoal colored slate 24" x 24" in size. This is the same material on the deck outside, as well. So, when you are inside with the doors open or closed the floor plane reads straight through to the outside, making a stronger connection and increasing the feel of the size of the interior spaces. This home also has in-floor heat, so the slate floors are always comfortable.
