Modernica - Apple pendant light
The Apple pendant light from Modernica has been designed by George Nelson. This suspension mounted luminaire is great for incandescent lighting. Composed of a steel frame with a premium polymer covering as well as a brushed nickel canopy, Apple pendants have 6 feet of cord included in the assembly kit. Part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York, these classic luminaires were first designed in 1947 and have been a prominent exhibition of light, art and design ever since. Designer George Nelson (1908-1986) was, together with Charles & Ray Eames, one of the founding fathers of American modernism. Many like to think of George Nelson as "The Creator of Beautiful and Practical Things".
