Glenna Partridge Garden Design The plant is Crocosmia 'Bright Eyes'. It's a corm (like a little bulb) and blooms in the later part of summer. August/September here in Vancouver. Hummingbirds love this plant and this particular cultivar blooms a really long time. Plant in full sun! There are lots of cultivars to choose from. 'Lucifer' is another great one that's taller and has red flowers. Google it and you'll get more info. You can purchase it as a corm to plant or nurseries have plants in bloom for sale in July, August , Sept. I hope this helps!
