hazstewart My guess is that the insulation is outside the nice sheathing boards you see. Notice the depth of the window jamb vs. the 2x wood framing.

Olivia Page I saw that. The wall lumber looks like 2x2? Maybe 2x4's that were cut lengthwise? The ceiling may have regular insulation above the joists.

Bonnie So true. I was walking through a furniture store the other day and bumped into the corner of a similar bed resulting in an ugly orange size bruise just below my knee. Beautiful room though. The colors are dreamy.
