remodel of small, rustic Adirondack style lake house. Challenge was to open up the space and turn the footage into a "Great Room" for entertaining, cooking, media while keeping view intact from every angle. Heart pine wood floors, knotty pine walls and breadboard ceiling. Company C rug under table. Natural Horizon shades blend in with wall when closed, and help manage the sun while keeping lake view. Table and chair set, called a T-back style - looks nice for an everyday great room setup
Roman shades - note how they almost disappear when pulled up
Chair in forefront - example of a slipcover
Ceiling - what ours might have looked like when the house was built

This room had been 3 small rooms. It was opened up to create one large "Great Room". Cozy seating around the slate fireplace, custom kitchen and dining space that went from seating 6 to 12! Heart pine floor and pine beadboard ceiling creates a warm, charming atmosphere where the view of the lake is from every angle.
