cocoma If you are brave & like a deep color, look at Benjamin Moore " Nightshade". I've used this color & find it very restful & peaceful & it will take your eye right out to your great view. Looks good with Ivory White trim. When I saw the first coat, I thought it was too dark after having light walls but before the job was finished, I loved it & still do, seven months later...

Lily Gahagan This chair (the Papa Bear from Hans Wegner) is an antique and a collectible, so finding one for under £1,000 would be very difficult. I've never seen a contemporary knock-off of this chair that holds a candle to the original. I'd try searching antique stores and flea markets for chairs from the same time period (1950s-60s) that might have been influenced by Wegner's designs. You might find something similar that, without the cache of the designer's name, might sell for far less.
